TaP Music, which represents artists like Lana Del Rey and Ellie Goulding, has announced that Will Bloomfield is joining their senior team as Co-President and Head of Global Artist Management. Bloomfield's career includes two decades at Modest! Management, where he became a partner and worked with top talents such as One Direction and Niall Horan. During his tenure, Modest! achieved significant success with 43 Number 1 singles, 20 UK Number 1 albums, and over 250 million record sales globally. Bloomfield, recognized with various accolades like Billboard’s 40 under 40, will work alongside TaP co-founders Ben Mawson and Ed Millett, and co-presidents Wendy Ong and Anna Neville, to oversee all areas of the business, including its non-profit and sports management ventures.
In addition to his management roles, Will Bloomfield has been actively involved in philanthropic efforts, particularly with The Richard Antwi Scholarship since 2017. He has played a crucial role in securing funding and creating opportunities for scholars in the music industry. This initiative also includes The Richard Antwi Award, presented annually at The Music Business Worldwide A&R Awards, recognizing significant contributions to the music business. Bloomfield's move to TaP Music is part of a broader strategy to expand their global presence and influence across various sectors of the entertainment industry.
