Raised by a single mother alongside his younger brother Lil KOHH, also a rapper, Chiba's music career began at age 18. He gained early recognition in Japan's underground rap scene and rose to international fame through collaborations with artists like Keith Ape and Megan Thee Stallion, notably on the track "Mamushi." His style blends raw lyricism and experimental sounds, reflecting his challenging upbringing and personal experiences. After retiring the KOHH moniker around 2021, he now performs under his real name and continues to break new ground in Japanese hip-hop with global ambitions, recently signing with Warner Music to expand his career internationally.
