Kris Barman, known professionally as Wuki, is an American electronic dance music producer and DJ from Denver, Colorado. Born on December 20, 1984, Wuki's music is characterized by a genre-blending style that incorporates elements of Detroit ghettotech, Chicago footwork, electro, and house. He began his career as a member of the electronic rock band Innerpartysystem before transitioning to his solo project in 2012. Wuki has released music on notable labels such as OWSLA, Mad Decent, and Fool's Gold, and has remixed tracks for high-profile artists like The Chainsmokers, RL Grime, and Miley Cyrus. His remix of Cyrus's "Mother's Daughter" earned him a Grammy nomination.
