Wild Rivers is a Canadian indie folk band from Toronto, Ontario, consisting of vocalists Devan Glover and Khalid Yassein, and multi-instrumentalist Andrew Oliver. The band formed in 2013 at Queen’s University in Kingston, Ontario, originally as a two-piece with Devan and Khalid before adding Andrew. They released their self-titled debut album in 2016 and their second studio album, Sidelines, in 2022. Known for blending pop, rock, indie, and folk sounds, their music often explores themes of identity, longing, and personal growth. Wild Rivers has earned recognition including a Juno Award nomination for Breakthrough Group of the Year in 2023, and they have toured with notable acts such as The Chicks and Noah Kahan. Their 2024 album Never Better also garnered a Juno nomination for Adult Alternative Album of the Year.
