Caroline Cecil, known professionally as WHIPPED CREAM, is a dynamic Canadian DJ and record producer hailing from Vancouver Island. Born on December 25, 1992, in Toronto, Ontario, she transitioned from a promising career in competitive figure skating to music after a severe ankle injury at 18. This pivotal moment led her to explore music production, inspired by a performance she witnessed at the Sasquatch! Music Festival in 2012.
WHIPPED CREAM's sound is characterized by dark, intricately designed bass music that defies easy categorization, blending elements of electronica and hip-hop. She burst onto the scene with her debut single in 2014 and has since released several EPs, including her major label debut, Who Is Whipped Cream?, in August 2020. Her tracks, such as "Ignorant" and "So Thick," have garnered millions of streams and critical acclaim, showcasing her unique style and artistic vision.
She has performed at major festivals like Ultra, Lollapalooza, and Electric Daisy Carnival.
