Born on June 11, 1988, in Santa Monica, California, Mering began her musical journey at a young age, adopting the moniker Weyes Blood in her teens. Weyes Blood's breakthrough came with her fourth studio album, "Titanic Rising" (2019), which received widespread critical acclaim and established her as a significant voice in contemporary indie music.
