Wade Forster is an Australian country singer-songwriter and professional rodeo cowboy from outback Queensland, celebrated for his authentic storytelling and lived experience as a working cattleman. He began his music career after teaching himself guitar while traveling the rodeo circuit, and his debut album, The Beginning (2022), achieved both local and international success as an independent release. Forster’s music is deeply rooted in classic country influences like George Jones and Dwight Yoakam, while also drawing on modern artists such as Cody Johnson and Tyler Childers, resulting in songs that capture the grit, heartbreak, and resilience of rural life. Winner of the 2024 Toyota Star Maker award, Forster has built a fast-growing fanbase, amassing over 50 million global streams and gaining viral attention with performances that highlight his honest voice and evocative lyrics. He is also known for advocating men’s mental health, using his platform to share stories of struggle and hope, and recently embarked on his first North American headline tour, further establishing himself as a compelling new voice in country music.
