Victor Mendivil signed with Rico o Muerto Music & Downtown Records.
Víctor Mendivil is a Mexican urban music artist and MC from Hermosillo who rose to prominence in 2024 within the corridos tumbados and Latin urban scenes. He first gained attention through his feature on Oscar Maydon’s track "Hong Kong" released by Rancho Humilde in late 2023, and quickly made a name for himself with his distinctive flow and braggadocious lyrics centered on themes like luxury lifestyle, drugs, guns, and partying. Mendivil’s music is characterized by a fusion of Regional Mexican sounds with trap, pop, and dembow influences, resulting in a fresh and innovative style. In 2024 alone, he released nearly 20 singles and collaborations with prominent artists such as Óscar Maydon, Yng Lvcas, El Padrinito Toys, and Kevin AMF, with popular tracks including “Mejores Jordans,” “Tony Montana,” and “Un Pacto.” His energetic performances and growing discography have made him a rising star in the Latin urban genre.
