Until I Wake is an American post-hardcore and metalcore band from Buffalo, New York, formed in 2019. The group initially featured vocalist Cody Jamison, guitarist August Geitner, bassist Ryan Ridley, and drummer Alex Curtin, later adding guitarist Niko Karras in 2023. Known for their heavy guitar-driven sound and catchy melodies, the band addresses themes such as mental health and addiction in their lyrics, aiming to bring attention to these issues and inspire listeners to speak out. After signing with Fearless Records in 2021, they released their self-titled EP and gained further recognition with their debut album "Inside My Head" in 2022, followed by the successful single "Octane" and extensive touring with bands like Attack Attack! and Crown The Empire. Despite lineup changes—including a brief period with vocalist Jaali Cypher—Cody Jamison returned as frontman in early 2025, coinciding with the release of their second album "Renovate"1. Until I Wake continues to build a strong following with their energetic live shows and music that resonates with fans facing real-life struggles.
