Tyler Hubbard, born January 31, 1987, in Monroe, Georgia, is an American country music singer and songwriter best known as one half of the multi-platinum duo Florida Georgia Line. He met his bandmate Brian Kelley at Belmont University in Nashville, where they started performing together and eventually launched their career with a digital EP in 2010. The duo rose to prominence with their debut album "Here’s to the Good Times" in 2012, featuring the breakout hit "Cruise," which became a defining song in the bro-country genre. After more than a decade of success with multiple hit albums and singles, Florida Georgia Line went on hiatus in 2022, leading Tyler Hubbard to pursue a solo career. He released his solo debut album in 2023, including chart-topping singles like "5 Foot 9," and continues to perform and release new music as a prominent figure in contemporary country music.
