Twin Temple is an American rock duo, formed in 2016 by the married couple Alexandra and Zachary James, known for their unique genre blend they call "Satanic Doo-Wop". Their music combines the sounds of 1950s and 1960s rock and roll, including doo-wop, R&B, and classic girl group influences, with Satanic themes and imagery . They gained attention for their debut album, Twin Temple (Bring You Their Signature Sound….), released in 2019, which was recorded live and in mono to capture an authentic vintage sound. Twin Temple has toured with bands like Ghost and Danzig, and their style is characterized by "soulfully kitschy" old-school R&B and rock anthems with a "Satanic twist," rejecting musical and social conformity.
