TOPS is an indie pop band formed in Montreal, Quebec, in 2011 by Jane Penny, David Carriere, and Riley Fleck, all originally hailing from Edmonton, Alberta. Breaking through with their debut album Tender Opposites in 2012, the band quickly garnered critical acclaim for their dreamy, emotionally nuanced sound, earning recognition from influential music outlets and building a loyal international following. While TOPS haven’t clinched major mainstream awards, their subsequent albums-Picture You Staring, Sugar at the Gate, and I Feel Alive-have solidified their reputation as standouts in the indie scene, with sold-out tours and festival appearances, including a milestone performance at Coachella in 2025, highlighting their lasting impact and artistry.

The Ghanaian-Australian duo were part of ROSTR's showcase EARLY, which debuted to hundreds of industry professionals earlier this fall in Los Angeles.
2025 saw Kinder perform at Coachella as featured performers with Coco & Breezy alongside supporting Katy Perry on her Australian Arena Tour. The sisters will be releasing their upcoming EP soon with a worldwide run of shows supporting Hugel.
