Tiana Major9 is a British R&B and soul singer-songwriter born Tiana Thomas-Ambersley on November 22, 1995, in the London Borough of Newham, raised in a Jamaican household where she sang gospel in church from age five and studied music at City and Islington College. She gained early recognition as a 2014 MOBO UnSung finalist before releasing singles like "Merry Go," "Levee (Let It Break)," and "Mr. Mysterious," her debut EP Rehearsal @ NINE (2019), and signing with Motown Records that year, highlighted by her breakout hit "Collide" (featuring EarthGang) from the Queen & Slim soundtrack, which won a Black Reel Award and earned a 2021 Grammy nomination for Best R&B Song.
