The Walters, an American indie pop band formed in 2014 in Chicago, Illinois, consists of members Luke Olson (lead vocals, guitar), Walter Kosner (lead guitar), Danny Wells (bass), and Charlie Ekhaus (drums), with MJ Tirabassi (rhythm guitar, vocals) being a part of the band until 2023. Known for their viral hit "I Love You So" from their EP Songs for Dads, which exploded on TikTok in 2021, leading to a resurgence in popularity and a deal with Warner Records.
The band initially disbanded in 2017 but reunited in 2021, releasing new music including their EP Try Again and singles like "Million Little Problems" and "Stuck In My Ways". Their music, characterized by its indie pop and bedroom pop genres, has seen them perform at major festivals and embark on national tours, showcasing their evolving sound and songcraft.
