The Stews are a dynamic four-piece rock band that originated in Auburn, Alabama, during the COVID-19 pandemic, quickly evolving from college gigs to a nationally touring act known for their energetic, genre-blending live shows. Formed by Preston Hall (lead vocals, guitar), Blake Dobbs (rhythm guitar), Bennett Baugus (bass), and Wyatt Griffith (drums), the band’s chemistry was forged through impromptu jam sessions and a shared background in Atlanta, Georgia. Their sound fuses indie rock, hard rock, jam, and alternative influences, drawing inspiration from legends like The Allman Brothers, Pink Floyd, and Bob Dylan, resulting in music that is both familiar and unpredictable.
