The Raven Age is an English heavy metal band formed in London in 2009 by guitarists George Harris and Dan Wright, the latter of whom departed in 2017. The band, which also includes lead vocalist Matt James, bassist Matt Cox, drummer Jai Patel, and guitarist Tommy Gentry, gained prominence after touring with Iron Maiden during their The Book of Souls World Tour in 2016. They released their debut album, Darkness Will Rise, in March 2017, followed by their second album, Conspiracy, in 2019, and most recently, Blood Omen in 2023. Known for their melodic metal sound and engaging live performances, The Raven Age has garnered a dedicated fanbase and has supported numerous renowned acts including Anthrax and Killswitch Engage.
