The All-American Rejects, often abbreviated as AAR, is an American rock band formed in 1999 in Stillwater, Oklahoma. The band comprises lead vocalist and bassist Tyson Ritter, lead guitarist and backing vocalist Nick Wheeler, rhythm guitarist Mike Kennerty, and drummer Chris Gaylor. They achieved significant success with their self-titled debut album in 2002, which included the hit single "Swing, Swing."
