The Aces are an American alternative pop band from Provo, Utah, formed in 2008 by sisters Cristal Ramirez (lead vocals, guitar) and Alisa Ramirez (drums), along with their childhood friends McKenna Petty (bass) and Katie Henderson (guitar). Initially performing as The Blue Aces, they changed their name to The Aces and gained recognition with their 2016 single "Stuck," which reached number 38 on the Billboard Alternative Songs chart. Known for their catchy indie pop rock sound, the band has released several albums including their debut When My Heart Felt Volcanic (2018) and Under My Influence (2020). The Aces are notable for their strong DIY beginnings, queer representation, and themes of identity and belonging, having built a dedicated fanbase through energetic live shows and critical acclaim within the alternative music scene.
