Emerging from the same hardcore scene as bands like Mindforce and All Out War, they’ve forged a distinct sound that blends grunge, shoegaze, 90s alternative, and elements of modern rock, characterized by thick, pedal-drenched guitars, aggressive moments, and lush, melodic undertones. Their music, notably present on their full-length debut album Feel It All Around (2022), produced by Will Yip, channels influences such as Hum, Failure, and Deftones, delivering emotionally charged lyrics about inner turmoil and resilience. Known for their energetic live shows and refusal to fit neatly into a single genre, Soul Blind’s style echoes a nostalgia for 90s alt-rock while pushing boundaries with inventive songwriting and a dedication to raw, heartfelt expression.
