by ROSTR

Sofía Valdés signed with Rupert Lincoln & Camille Goldman of Hills Artists for management.

Sofía Valdés is released by Warner Records, booked by TBA Agency & published by Seeker Music/Tiger Spring.

Sofía Valdés is a Panamanian singer-songwriter celebrated for her emotionally honest and genre-blending pop music that draws from her rich multicultural heritage, including influences of pop, soul, bossa nova, folk, Motown, and Latin music. Born in Panama City in 1999, she is the great-granddaughter of Cuban vocalist Miguelito Valdés and Panamanian singer Silvia de Grasse, who performed with Louis Armstrong, and began playing guitar at eight and writing songs at thirteen. Valdés honed her craft at the Interlochen Arts Academy in Michigan and the Liverpool Institute for Performing Arts in the UK before signing with Warner Records in 2020 and releasing her debut singles "Little Did I Know" and "Handful of Water". Her acclaimed EPs-Ventura (2021), In Bloom (2022), and Silvia (2023)-showcase her introspective songwriting and multicultural sound, culminating in her self-titled debut album, Sofía Valdés, released in October 2024. Now based in Los Angeles, Valdés continues to inspire with her vulnerability, storytelling, and commitment to representing Panamanian and Latinx voices in contemporary music.
