SISTRA is a rising indie pop duo composed of sisters Sylvie and Sasha from London, England. The pair burst onto the music scene in 2023 with their debut single "You're a Lot," which quickly gained traction on social media and streaming platforms, amassing over 380,000 plays on Instagram and 25,000 Spotify streams in its first week.
Their music, described as "emotional music for emotional people," blends dreamy alt-pop sounds reminiscent of influences like The Japanese House, MUNA, and The 1975. SISTRA's witty, emotive lyrics paired with addictive beats and angelic vocals have caught the attention of BBC Introducing, with Alex West praising them as "almost fully formed" upon arrival.
