Sick Puppies is an Australian rock band formed in Sydney in 1997 by singer/guitarist Shimon Moore and bassist Emma Anzai. The band initially gained attention with their debut album Welcome to the Real World (2001), but it was their 2006 single "All the Same" and its accompanying video for the Free Hugs Campaign that propelled them to international fame. This viral success led to their second album, Dressed Up as Life (2007), which featured hits like "My World" and "All the Same." The band continued to build their reputation with subsequent albums Tri-Polar (2009), Connect (2013), and Fury (2016), the latter marking the debut of new vocalist Bryan Scott after Moore's departure in 2014. Known for their energetic live performances and a blend of alternative rock, post-grunge, and nu-metal influences, Sick Puppies have maintained a loyal fanbase over the years. The current lineup includes Emma Anzai on bass and vocals, Mark Goodwin on drums, and Bryan Scott on guitars and lead vocals. The band is set to release their sixth studio album, Wave The Bull, in 2025.
