SHY FX, born Andre Williams in London in 1977, is a pioneering British DJ and record producer renowned for his influential role in the development of jungle and drum and bass music. He burst onto the scene in the early 1990s with his breakthrough single "Original Nuttah," a track that became an anthem of the jungle movement and remains a classic in UK underground music. Known for blending reggae, dancehall, and breakbeat influences, SHY FX has continually evolved his sound over the decades, producing hits such as "Shake Ur Body" with T Power and collaborating with a diverse range of artists including Ms. Dynamite, Lily Allen, and Dizzee Rascal. His ability to fuse genres and keep dance floors energized has made him a staple at major festivals and clubs worldwide.
