she's green is a Minneapolis-based shoegaze band that has quickly emerged as a notable act in the Midwest alternative music scene. Comprised of vocalist Zofia Smith, guitarists Liam Armstrong and Raines Lucas, bassist Teddy Nordvold, and drummer Kevin Seebeck, the band has gained recognition for their dreamy, atmospheric sound reminiscent of 90s alternative and shoegaze music. They initially gained traction through their home-recorded singles "river" and "smile again" and were named one of First Avenue's Best New Bands of 2023. In April 2024, they topped the Minnesota Public Radio's first annual Scouting Report Poll, solidifying their status as a rising talent. The band's debut EP "Wisteria" showcases their raw emotional intensity and explorative songwriting, drawing comparisons to iconic shoegaze acts while creating their own unique sonic landscape.
