Jeff Montalvo, known professionally as Seven Lions, is a prominent American DJ and record producer from Santa Barbara, California, born on March 31, 1987. He gained recognition in the electronic music scene after winning a remix contest for Above & Beyond's "You Got to Go" in 2012, which propelled him into the spotlight.
Seven Lions is celebrated for his innovative fusion of genres, including melodic dubstep, trance, and bass music, and has released multiple successful EPs and singles that have topped various charts. His debut album, Beyond the Veil, released in 2022, marked a significant milestone in his career. Over the years, he has headlined major music festivals such as Ultra Music Festival and Electric Daisy Carnival and founded his own label, Ophelia Records, which has become a key player in the melodic bass genre.
