Sasha Alex Sloan, born Alexandra Artourovna Yatchenko on March 11, 1995, is an American singer-songwriter known for her introspective, emotionally raw indie pop and electronic-tinged music. Raised near Boston, she taught herself piano as a child and spent summers on her grandparents' farm in Siberia, Russia. Sloan moved to Los Angeles at 19 to pursue songwriting, initially writing for major artists like Camila Cabello and Kygo before launching a solo career with critically acclaimed releases including her debut album Only Child (2020) and its follow-up I Blame the World (2022). In 2024, she independently released Me Again, a deeply personal work recorded in Nashville that reflects themes of vulnerability and identity. Known for her candid lyricism and intimate vocal delivery, Sloan has established a significant presence with millions of streams and a devoted audience worldwide.
