Rosé, born Park Chaeyoung, is the main vocalist and lead dancer of the K-pop girl group BLACKPINK. Originally from New Zealand and raised in Australia, Rosé signed with YG Entertainment in 2012 and debuted with BLACKPINK in 2016. Known for her distinct vocal tone and powerful live performances, Rosé has become one of the most recognizable K-pop idols worldwide. In 2021, she made her highly anticipated solo debut with the single album "-R-", which broke numerous records including the highest first-week sales by a female K-pop soloist. Rosé's music has been praised for its atmospheric alt-R&B sound, and she has cited artists like Taeyang, Tori Kelly, and Gummy as musical influences.
