ROLE MODEL is the stage name of Tucker Pillsbury, an American singer-songwriter and producer from Maine known for his emotionally candid blend of pop, indie, and R&B. After beginning his music career as a rapper, Pillsbury shifted to a more melodic, confessional style with his 2017 debut EP Arizona in the Summer, earning a following that led to a deal with Interscope Records. He further established his sound with the EPs Oh, How Perfect (2019) and Our Little Angel (2020), and gained widespread attention with his debut album Rx in 2022. In July 2024, ROLE MODEL released his sophomore album Kansas Anymore, which explores themes of heartbreak, growth, and moving on, blending polished pop with acoustic and country influences. The deluxe edition, Kansas Anymore (The Longest Goodbye), arrived in early 2025 with four new tracks, including the viral hit 'Sally, When The Wine Runs Out,' further showcasing his knack for relatable storytelling and catchy songwriting.
