Robin Miriam Carlsson, known professionally as Robyn, is a celebrated Swedish pop singer, songwriter, record producer, and DJ. Born on June 12, 1979, she first gained international fame with her 1995 debut album Robyn Is Here, which featured the hit singles "Do You Know (What It Takes)" and "Show Me Love".
After a period of focusing on the Swedish market, she made a significant comeback with her 2005 self-titled album, which included the UK chart-topping single "With Every Heartbeat". Robyn's innovative approach to pop music was further solidified with her critically acclaimed Body Talk series in 2010, which produced hits like "Dancing On My Own" and "Hang with Me". Known for her emotionally resonant and danceable tracks, Robyn has influenced a generation of pop artists.
