She began her music career in high school, self-releasing mixtapes starting in 2014, and gained early underground attention with SoundCloud singles like "iCarly" and "Hey Arnold." Rico Nasty rose to wider prominence in 2018 with hits such as "Smack a Bitch" and "Poppin," leading to a contract with Atlantic Records and the release of her mixtape Nasty. Known for her unique blend of hardcore rap and punk elements, she continued to evolve with projects like the collaborative mixtape Anger Management (2019) and her debut studio album Nightmare Vacation (2020). Her music is characterized by aggressive delivery, punk aesthetics, and genre-bending styles, solidifying her status as a dynamic and influential figure in contemporary hip-hop.
