Rehash is a rock band from South Florida that gained popularity through their TikTok covers and original music. Originally starting as a duo with Renzo Valdez (rhythm guitar, vocals) and Sebastian Gamez (lead guitar, keyboards), they later expanded to include bassist Ethan Lopez and drummer Daseth Lopez. The band released their self-titled debut album "Rehash" in June 2023, featuring 10 tracks that blend alternative rock, classic rock, grunge, and indie elements. Their sound draws comparisons to Nirvana, Radiohead, and The Beatles, with songs like "It Must Be Easy" and "Laura" showcasing their diverse influences. As of February 2025, Rehash has gained a significant following, with over 257,000 monthly listeners on Spotify and recognition for their energetic live performances. The band continues to release new music, including their latest EP "Back to Strangers," and is considered part of the new grunge revival movement.
