RaeLynn, born Racheal Lynn Woodward on May 4, 1994, in Baytown, Texas, is an American country singer-songwriter known for her distinctive storytelling and energetic personality. She first gained national attention as a contestant on season two of The Voice in 2012, where, coached by Blake Shelton, she reached the quarterfinals and quickly leveraged the exposure to launch her recording career. RaeLynn’s breakout single “God Made Girls” went platinum and helped establish her as a prominent voice in modern country music, followed by hits like “Love Triangle” and “Lonely Call,” both of which have achieved gold certification. Her debut album WildHorse debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard Country Albums chart, and she has since amassed over one billion career streams while touring with artists such as Garth Brooks, Kane Brown, and Miranda Lambert. Beyond music, RaeLynn is an advocate for diabetes awareness, having been diagnosed with Type 1 diabetes at age 12, and she is recognized for her devotion to family, faith, and her military ties through her husband and brother.
