PNAU is an acclaimed Australian dance music duo from Sydney, consisting of Nick Littlemore and Peter Mayes. Known for their innovative sound, Pnau blends elements of deep house, funk, hip-hop, Latin, and jazz, which was first showcased in their award-winning debut album Sambanova released in 1999.
Over the years, they have gained international recognition, notably for their collaborations with Elton John, who became a mentor to the duo after being impressed by their work. This partnership led to projects such as reinterpretations of Elton John's classics. Pnau is also recognized for their remix of Elton John and Dua Lipa's hit "Cold Heart," which further solidified their status in the global music scene.
