Phantogram is an American music duo from Greenwich, New York, formed in 2007 by long-time friends Sarah Barthel and Josh Carter. Known for their unique blend of electronic rock, dream pop, and trip-hop, their music features a mix of electronic loops, hip-hop beats, shoegaze, and soul influences. The duo, originally called Charlie Everywhere, changed their name to Phantogram in 2009.
They have released several albums, including "Eyelid Movies" (2010), "Voices" (2014), "Three" (2016), and "Ceremony" (2020), and have collaborated with artists like Big Boi and the Flaming Lips. Phantogram's sound is characterized by its street beat rhythms, psychedelic melodies, and organic textures, often created in their remote barn studio, Harmony Lodge, in upstate New York.
