Pete Ganbarg stepped down as president of A&R at Atlantic Records to launch his JV Pure Tone Records with the label.
The label's flagship signee is singer-songwriter Forest Blakk. Ganbarg worked at Atlantic for nearly 16 years, and will continue A&R with Atlantic acts like Twenty One Pilots, GAYLE & Halestorm.
