Owen Riegling is a Canadian country music singer and songwriter born in 1998, hailing from the small town of Mildmay, Ontario. Rooted in his rural upbringing, he began playing guitar at age eleven and developed his passion for honest, storytelling lyrics that resonate with everyday life and simple experiences. He independently released music early in his career, including the EP "Empty Room" in 2020, and gained wider recognition after winning the Boots and Hearts Emerging Artist Showcase in 2022. Signed to Universal Music Canada in 2023, Riegling released hit singles such as "Love (The Sweater Song)," "Old Dirt Roads," and "Moonshines," earning multiple Canadian Country Music Awards including Breakthrough Artist of the Year and Songwriter of the Year. Known for his authentic country-rock sound and relatable storytelling, he has toured extensively and continues to grow his presence in the Canadian country music scene.
