Offset, born Kiari Kendrell Cephus on December 14, 1991, in Lawrenceville, Georgia, is an American rapper, singer, and songwriter who rose to fame as one third of the influential hip-hop trio Migos, alongside Quavo and Takeoff. Known for his rapid-fire rhymes, clever wordplay, and signature ad-libs, Offset helped define the sound of modern trap music with hits like "Bad and Boujee" and the chart-topping albums Culture and Culture II. In addition to his group success, Offset has built a notable solo career, releasing acclaimed albums such as Father of 4 (2019) and Set It Off (2023), both of which showcase his versatility and introspective songwriting. His collaborations span a wide range of artists, including Cardi B, Travis Scott, and Tyga, and his personal life—particularly his high-profile marriage to Cardi B—has often been in the public eye. Offset is also recognized for his entrepreneurial ventures and philanthropic work, notably through the Offset Foundation, which focuses on youth empowerment and criminal justice reform.
