Sam Newton Battenberg Faulkner, born on January 11, 1985, in Reigate, Surrey, is an English singer-songwriter renowned for his distinctive percussive guitar style and acoustic folk-pop sound. He burst onto the music scene in 2007 with his debut album "Hand Built by Robots," which was certified double platinum and featured hit singles like "Dream Catch Me" and "I Need Something."
Despite facing a significant challenge when he broke and dislocated his right wrist, Faulkner continued to innovate, releasing the aptly named album "Rebuilt by Humans" and establishing himself as a unique voice in the acoustic music landscape. A graduate of the Guildford Academy of Contemporary Music, he has performed at major festivals like Glastonbury and collaborated with various artists, consistently pushing the boundaries of his musical style while maintaining a loyal fan base.
