Nectar Woode is a 24-year-old Ghanaian-English singer-songwriter-producer based in London, known for her soulful and jazz-influenced music. Growing up in Milton Keynes in a creative household, she was inspired by artists like Lauryn Hill, Erykah Badu, and Joni Mitchell, developing a unique sound that blends soul, folk, and leftfield pop textures. After graduating from ICMP's BA in Creative Musicianship, she released her debut EP 'Nothing to Lose' in February 2024, which showcased her warm vocal harmonies and improvisational style.
Woode has already made significant strides in her career, supporting artists like Isaac Gracie and David Gray, performing at festivals alongside Sampa The Great and Ezra Collective, and hosting a Women in Jazz show on Soho Radio. Her music is characterized by its honesty, positivity, and rich musical influences, drawing from her West African heritage and London's vibrant music scene.
