MTECH is the alias of Matthew Bernard, a versatile music producer, musician, and engineer from Los Angeles, California. Starting his musical journey at age 10 by playing piano in church, he evolved into a multi-instrumentalist across genres like classical, gospel, jazz, rock, and electronic music. By 17, he was producing for independent artists in LA and later earned a B.S. in Recording Arts from Full Sail University. Mentored by Troy Taylor, MTECH gained recognition for his work on Lee Daniels' TV show Star and as an arranger for The Four: Battle for Stardom. His career flourished with placements on Kendrick Lamar's Euphoria and Kali Uchis's Grammy-nominated album Orquídeas. In 2023 alone, his productions garnered over 3 million streams, solidifying his reputation as a rising force in the industry
