Moelogo, born Mohammed Basit Abiola Isola Animashaun in Lagos, Nigeria, is a British-Nigerian singer-songwriter celebrated for his distinctive blend of Afrobeats, R&B, and highlife influences. After moving to London in 2001, he discovered his musical talent through school choirs and honed his craft at London's Starlight Music Academy. Moelogo gained recognition with his debut EP in 2013 and has since built an impressive discography while collaborating with global stars like Jonas Blue, Tiwa Savage, and Davido. Renowned for his smooth vocals, genre-defying sound, and lyrics that often switch between Yoruba and English, Moelogo’s music is marked by emotional depth and cultural pride.
