Machine Gun Kelly (MGK), born Colson Baker on April 22, 1990, in Houston, Texas, is an American musician, rapper, singer-songwriter, and actor known for his genre versatility. Raised in Cleveland, Ohio, MGK gained early fame with his rapid-fire lyrical style and released four mixtapes before signing with Bad Boy Records in 2011. His debut album, Lace Up (2012), featured the hit single "Wild Boy" and peaked at number four on the Billboard 200. Known for hits like "Bad Things" (with Camila Cabello) and "my ex's best friend" (with blackbear), he has also acted in films such as The Dirt (2019). MGK's music and public persona reflect a blend of raw emotion, rebellion, and creativity, making him a prominent figure in contemporary music.
