Memphis LK is an Australian DJ, singer, songwriter, and producer from Melbourne, recognized for her distinctive blend of pop and underground dance music influences. Having grown up surrounded by the late '90s and early 2000s rave scene, she developed an early passion for electronic music, which later shaped her unique sound-a fusion of house, techno, and pop characterized by infectious melodies, energetic beats, and introspective lyrics. Memphis LK began her musical journey in bands before teaching herself production on GarageBand and Ableton, eventually launching a solo career after her work with the electronic duo Saatsuma. Her recent EP, True Love And Its Consequences, and singles like "Closer to You" and "Coffee" showcase her forward-thinking approach and DIY ethos, earning her critical acclaim and festival appearances at events such as Splendour In The Grass and The Great Escape. Now based in London, Memphis LK continues to push creative boundaries, drawing inspiration from artists like Four Tet, Burial, and Charli XCX, and is regarded as one of the most exciting new voices in electronic and dance-pop music.
