María de los Ángeles Becerra, known professionally as Maria Becerra, is an Argentine singer and songwriter born on February 12, 2000, in Quilmes, Buenos Aires. She rose to prominence initially as a YouTuber before transitioning to music in 2019 with her debut EP "222". Becerra quickly became a leading voice in Argentina's urban pop movement, collaborating with major artists and releasing hit singles like "High" and "Miénteme". Her debut studio album "Animal" was released in 2021, followed by "La Nena de Argentina" in 2022. Becerra has received multiple Latin Grammy nominations and made history in 2024 as the first Argentine female singer to perform at the River Plate Stadium. Known for her versatile style blending pop, reggaeton, and trap, Becerra has become one of the most streamed Latin American artists globally, with over 24 million monthly listeners on Spotify.
