Maoli is a Hawaiian reggae band formed in 2007 by Glenn Awong, a native of Maui who started making music in his high school years. The group has become Hawaii and Polynesia's #1 independent commercial recording artist, known for their unique "Country Reggae" sound that blends elements of R&B, soul, acoustics, rock, and reggae. They have achieved significant success, including winning Group of the Year and Album of the Year at the iHeart's Island Music Awards in 2020, and selling over 45,000 tickets on their Maoli Music Overload (MMO) tour in 2023. With nine independent albums and over half a billion global streams, Maoli has performed across the U.S., New Zealand, Australia, and the South Pacific, establishing themselves as a prominent force in island reggae music.
