Luh Tyler, born Tyler Reed Meeks in 2006, is a rising rapper and songwriter from Tallahassee, Florida, known for his laidback flow and infectious, melodic approach to the Florida rap sound. He first gained viral attention in late 2022 with the single "Law & Order," which exploded on TikTok and established him as one of the genre’s brightest new talents. Drawing inspiration from local favorites and artists like XXXTentacion, Ski Mask the Slump God, and Kodak Black, Luh Tyler quickly followed up with hits like "Jayda Wayda" and "Back Flippin," the latter amassing millions of streams. His 2023 debut mixtape My Vision (and its reloaded version featuring Lil Uzi Vert) peaked at number 2 on Billboard’s Heatseekers chart, while 2024’s Mr. Skii featured collaborations with major names including Kodak Black. Having left high school to pursue music full-time, Luh Tyler has already opened for A Boogie wit da Hoodie and built a reputation for storytelling that channels his experiences growing up in a close-knit Florida family, making him one of the youngest and most promising voices in contemporary hip-hop.
