Lilly Palmer, born on April 5, 1999, near Nuremberg, Germany, is a techno DJ and producer renowned for her high-energy performances and genre-blending sound. Initially drawn to death metal in her youth, she transitioned to electronic music at 17, finding her niche in Zurich’s deep house scene before evolving into hard techno with melodic flourishes. Her sets merge industrial intensity with hypnotic rhythms, a style she describes as bridging Berlin’s raw techno and melodic depth. Palmer faced early challenges in the male-dominated DJ scene, losing peers when she began performing, but persevered to build a global following. She founded Spannung Records, curating releases that reflect her dynamic style, and achieved milestones like headlining Tomorrowland and securing a 2024 dual record deal with Armada Music and Kontor Records. With over 1.6 million Instagram followers and viral tracks like "We Control" (10+ million Spotify streams), she champions independence in production and female representation in electronic music. Based in Amsterdam, Palmer continues to tour internationally, cementing her status as a leading voice in techno’s evolution.
