LAUNDRY DAY signed with R&R Digital for records.
Their first single with the label drops this Friday 4/19.
LAUNDRY DAY are an American pop rock band originating from Manhattan, New York, and formed in 2018 while the members were attending Beacon High School. The band is composed of vocalists Sawyer Nunes and Jude Ciulla-Lipkin, guitarist Henry Weingartner, and bassist Henry Pearl. Nunes, who had prior experience on Broadway, teamed up with Ciulla-Lipkin to begin their musical journey, quickly followed by Weingartner and Pearl. They debuted with their album "Trumpet Boy" in 2018 under their independent label Polo and Fomo, embarking on their first national tour shortly after. Over the years, LAUNDRY DAY has released several albums, including "Homesick" in 2019, which was co-produced with Romil Hemnani of BROCKHAMPTON and recorded at the renowned Shangri-La Studio.
Their music style, often described as genre-defying, showcases their versatility as multi-instrumentalists and their DIY ethos, a trait that has garnered attention from various media outlets. LAUNDRY DAY has been featured in high-profile performances at festivals like Austin City Limits and Tyler, the Creator's Camp Flog Gnaw Carnival, and has opened for acts such as The 1975 and Clairo. The band's public image continues to rise, earning a spot on NME's list of "essential new artists" in 2020.
