Lau Noah is a composer, multi-instrumentalist and self-taught artist originally from Catalonia, Spain, but now based in New York City. She has gained recognition for her poetic compositions and masterful counterpoint work, earning praise from acclaimed musicians like Phoebe Bridgers and Jackson Browne. Noah made history in 2019 as the first Catalan artist to perform a Tiny Desk Concert for NPR. Her unique approach to music composition has led to teaching workshops and master classes at prestigious institutions like Ivy League universities and music conservatories worldwide.
Noah has scored multiple award-winning films and performed alongside artists such as Jacob Collier, Gavin DeGraw, and Chris Thile, with whom she toured Europe and the UK as an opening act. In 2023, she opened for Ben Folds on his UK tour, playing solo at iconic venues like the Royal Albert Hall. Noah's highly anticipated debut LP "A Dos," released in January 2024, features collaborations with influential musicians including Jorge Drexler, Sílvia Pérez Cruz, Jacob Collier, and Cécile McLorin Salvant.
