Jess Glynne, born Jessica Hannah Glynne on October 20, 1989, in Hampstead, London, is an English singer and songwriter known for her powerful vocals and record-breaking hits in contemporary pop and dance music. She rose to fame in 2014 with featured appearances on Clean Bandit's chart-topping single "Rather Be" and Route 94's "My Love," both reaching number one on the UK Singles Chart. Glynne’s debut album, I Cry When I Laugh (2015), debuted at number one in the UK and produced multiple successful singles including "Hold My Hand" and "Don't Be So Hard on Yourself." She made history as the first British female solo artist to achieve seven number-one singles on the UK chart. Glynne's follow-up albums Always In Between (2018) and Jess (2024) continued her success, solidifying her status as a defining voice in British pop music.
